Thursdays on the Stoop: Outspoken—Reading for an Audience

Reading for an audience is an underrated skill for new and established writers alike. In this free, hourlong skillshare, novelist Mary Berman will explain how to select the right piece, what to do with your body while reading, and how to prepare page-based works for a performance. We'll watch clips of talented readers, then get some practice reading aloud with optional feedback.
